Three kinds of credential.

Every course page says who issues the card or record. A Tenet certificate of completion documents the training. It is never presented as an OSHA credential.

OSHA card

OSHA Outreach course completion card

Issued to students who successfully complete a class taught by an authorized trainer. Construction cards are processed through the Mid-Atlantic OTI Education Center, general industry cards through the Rutgers OTI Education Center.

Cert card

Certification card

HSI certification card, issued after the course and a hands-on skills evaluation.

Tenet certificate

Tenet certificate of completion

A TENET STANDARD certificate and roster documenting who was trained, on what, when, and by whom. It is a training record, not an OSHA or Department of Labor credential.

OSHA Outreach

10- and 30-hour OSHA Outreach training for construction and general industry. Students who successfully complete the course receive an OSHA Outreach student course completion card.

Construction workers who need foundational training in recognizing and avoiding jobsite hazards.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction

Foremen, superintendents, supervisors, and others with construction safety responsibilities.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry

Workers in manufacturing, warehousing, healthcare, and other general industry workplaces.

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry

Supervisors, managers, and others with safety responsibilities in general industry workplaces.

Emergency care

Hands-on training in CPR, AED, first aid, basic and advanced life support, bleeding control, bloodborne pathogens, and emergency medical response.

CPR, AED & First Aid

Workplace responders, supervisors, and employees designated to provide first aid.

Basic Life Support, BLS

Healthcare professionals and other responders who need training in CPR, AED use, and team resuscitation.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, ACLS

Healthcare professionals who direct or take part in managing cardiac arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies.

Emergency Medical Response

Designated workplace responders and medical emergency response team members who need training beyond basic first aid.

Bleeding Control

Employees, supervisors, security staff, and response teams learning to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding.

Bloodborne Pathogens and OPIM

Employees with occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, including lab staff and designated first aid responders.

High-risk work

Training for hazard communication, hazardous materials shipping, fall protection, confined spaces, forklifts, mobile elevating work platforms, electrical safety, and site orientation.

DOT Hazardous Materials Training

Employees who prepare, classify, package, mark, label, document, or ship hazardous materials.

Tenet certificate

Hazard Communication, HazCom

Employees who may be exposed to hazardous chemicals at work, and supervisors responsible for the hazard communication program.

Fall Protection Training

Workers exposed to fall hazards and the supervisors who plan and oversee their work.

Confined Space Entry and Rescue

Entrants, attendants, entry supervisors, and rescue teams for permit-required confined spaces.

Forklift Operator Training

Powered industrial truck operators who need instruction, practical training, and an evaluation on the trucks they will use.

MEWP Operator Training

Operators of scissor lifts and boom lifts, with practical training and familiarization on the equipment they will use.

Emergency managers, EOC staff, and organizational representatives who coordinate information, resources, and support during an incident.

Continuity of Operations Program Manager

Program managers and organizational leaders who develop, maintain, and exercise continuity plans.
