Built in the field. Raised above the floor.
TENET STANDARD is a safety, occupational health, and training firm that has been doing the work since 2008.
The standard is the floor.
A hospital safety leader said it first. Meeting the code is where the job starts, not where it ends.
That line became the principle behind this firm. Regulations set the minimum. The work that keeps people safe gets built above it, with real measurements, programs that match the job, and training people carry onto the floor.
One practice since 2008.
The practice started in 2008 and has run continuously since, under the Tenet name since 2010. In 2026 it became TENET STANDARD, a name that says what we believe. Code is the floor, and the work belongs above it.
Over that time the work has covered construction sites, hospitals, plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and mission-critical facilities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Experience
Scott's introduction to safety began at an apparel company with offices on three floors of the Empire State Building. His first day was September 10, 2001. He was hired for marketing and promotions, and helping people across the company understand safety became part of that work.
When he left, he went back to school for EMS and hazardous materials response, began working in hospitals, and started teaching CPR. That teaching became the practice in 2008. Since then, he has led safety and emergency management programs within hospitals, construction sites, industrial facilities, and municipal government.
- Led survey readiness for Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, FDA, and state inspections.
- ED staff reporting patient assault fell from 60% to 11% on the employee survey.
- Rebuilt a hospital emergency program to the CMS rule, across hospital, home health, and hospice.
- Led safety on $1B+ in construction. 70+ projects running at once. GMP pharma included.
- Rebuilt a safety program that cut insurance premiums $500,000 a year.
- Wrote safety programs for 750,000 square feet of warehousing, distribution, and heavy manufacturing.
- Developed the town's emergency plan and directed its implementation during Hurricanes Irene and Sandy.
- Led campus emergency management through COVID. 160 surge ICU beds, 22,350 vaccinations, 53,000 tests.
- Directed the fire and life safety systems across a large commercial campus and occupational safety for its facilities team.

We run the audiometric testing. An audiologist reviews every audiogram.
Lab analysis
Every sample goes to an accredited laboratory, which reports the analytical result.
