Training follows the safe-use and training provisions of ANSI/SAIA A92.22 and A92.24, with the editions named in your course scope. OSHA requirements depend on the equipment and setting, since boom-type aerial lifts and scissor lifts fall under different OSHA provisions. Familiarization on a specific machine is separate from general operator training, and the employer authorizes who operates.
